Tagliatelle with Creamy Pesto Sauce

One of those days when you are craving for good comfort food and neither have the will to cook for a long time in the kitchen nor wish to take the effort to go to or order from some fancy Italian restaurant which will be really brutal on your pocket. Here’s what will save the day…recipe for creamy pesto sauce pasta one of my favourite ways of using the Basil Pesto as said in my earlier post. Can be made in a matter of minutes!! J


Ingredients

½ cup Fresh Cream
1 tbsp  Butter
1/4th Cup grated Parmesan
200gms Durum Wheat Pasta (I used Tagliatelle, you can also use fusilli or penne)

Method:

·         Boil the Pasta as per the packet instructions.
·         Heat cream and butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add pesto and stir.
·         Drain pasta and place in a serving bowl. Pour pesto cream over the top. Toss to combine.
·         Serve immediately.


I added some diced grilled chicken and stir fried mushrooms to my pasta, its great even without it. Enjoy your Pasta con Pesto Crema…
